Supply Chain Apprentice

Are you ready to start an apprenticeship where you will gain hands-on experience in logistics? We are looking for a Supply Chain Apprentice who is curious, well-organised and ready to become part of a company where technology, people and strong coordination go hand in hand.

You will join us for a two-year apprenticeship, combining practical work at SwipBox with periods at school. You will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Logistics
  • Administration
  • Inventory management
  • Parcel dimensions and transport documentation
  • Different modes of transport
  • Transport cost calculations
  • Delivery reliability

You will work closely with our procurement, sales, accounting and administration teams. Your role will combine office-based and practical work, with an approximate 70/30 split.

Your practical tasks will include packing and shipping spare parts, coordinating shipments of our parcel lockers from our external manufacturer and occasionally moving lockers between locations. This requires a forklift licence – and if you do not already have one, we will arrange for you to obtain it during your apprenticeship.

You may be completely new to the job market, or you may have worked for a few years and now wish to complete an apprenticeship as an adult apprentice. What matters most is that you are eager to learn, take responsibility and enjoy working with both systems and people.

As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you will receive training and gradually take on more responsibility. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Help plan and follow up on deliveries
  • Work with orders, shipments and logistics documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues in areas such as procurement, production planning, support and sales
  • Be in contact with carriers and suppliers
  • Use IT systems to maintain an overview and help ensure that shipments arrive on time

At SwipBox, you will have supportive colleagues of all ages, an informal work environment and an apprenticeship position where we take your development seriously. We do not expect you to know everything from day one – we expect you to be eager to learn.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship with us, there is a good chance that you will be able to continue in a full-time position.

We review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so send your application today. Please submit your CV and application by clicking the button below.
