Manufacturing Engineer – Product Industrialisation and Optimisation

Do you want to play a key role in a growing international tech company? And do you want to be the technical link between the development and production of parcel lockers?

Optimisation, documentation, development and support

Referring to the COO, you will become part of the Operations team in Sønderborg, working closely with your colleagues in the Development, Quality and Production departments. You will play a key role in the continued development of the external production and collaboration with external partners.

A normal working day may see you perform tasks ranging from handing over products from development to production, performing technical support and creating documentation to hands-on optimisation at the premises of our main supplier in the north of Jutland or visiting our partners worldwide.

Your primary focus

  • Optimisation and collaboration: Ongoing improvement of products and production processes in close collaboration with suppliers
  • Training and support: Planning and carrying out technical training of customers in different countries
  • Global responsibility: Visiting suppliers, manufacturers and partners worldwide with a focus on optimisation, quality assurance and strategic targets
  • Technical documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, parts lists and change notes
  • Development projects: Actively contributing to the handover from project development to daily operations.

Technically strong manufacturing engineer experienced in metal work and production optimisation

You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience from a similar role – e.g. manufacturing support, technical project management or production engineering. You have practical experience in plating and metal work and are used to working with 3D CAD software, parts lists and change requests in ERP systems (e.g. MS Business Central).

You can read and understand technical drawings and in general have a strong technical understanding of serial production, collaboration with subcontractors and production optimisation.

You speak and write Danish and English fluently and probably have a degree in engineering, production technology, technical design or similar.

In addition, we expect that you:

  • Thrive in a practical role where your solutions turn into physical products.
  • Are independent and proactive – you take responsibility and ensure that your tasks are completed.
  • Are structured and detail oriented while keeping a good overview of complex projects.
  • Thrive in the close collaboration with developers, management and production teams alike.
  • Are motivated by seeing your solutions turned into high-quality products.
