Hardware Engineer

Optimise product quality and production for our parcel locker solutions

Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that our hardware solutions are ready for production? We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to collaborate with our development teams and EMS suppliers to improve our hardware, production processes and overall product performance.

In this role, you will play a key part in reviewing electronics and hardware design, ensuring that our products are ready for production, addressing operational and technical challenges and optimising costs across our supply chain.

You will be part of our operations team and report directly to our COO. In a company with close collaboration across specialised teams, you will have a high degree of independence and play an active role in shaping product quality, technical standards and production improvements.

Your primary focus

Your tasks and responsibilities will cover:

  • Optimise electronic and hardware components by identifying quality improvements that increase stability and reduce costs

  • Collaborate with our research and development team and EMS suppliers to evaluate and approve alternative components

  • Support quality assurance (QA) with root cause analysis

  • Lead technical reviews and audits of EMS suppliers

  • Define production and test specifications with EMS suppliers and develop test setups that improve product quality and reliability

  • Support the transition from development to production by ensuring products are ready for serial production and minimising transition risks

  • Maintain documentation and standardisation across our production setup and external manufacturing partners

Who are you?

We imagine that you:

  • Have a degree in electronics, hardware engineering or a similar technical field

  • Have experience working with electronics, hardware or test setups in a production environment

  • Have experience collaborating with EMS suppliers and external manufacturers

  • Have a strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles

  • Have experience working with the transition from development to production

  • Are comfortable working with technical documentation, specifications and standards

  • Can work cross-functionally with R&D, QA and external partners

  • Have knowledge about technical quality, production efficiency and cost optimisation

Your profile is extra strong if you have experience or interest in mechatronics, have worked with mechanical aspects of product optimisation, and have worked across disciplines to improve overall product performance. Perhaps you are also experienced with developing tests, production equipment and audits.

It is important to stress that the above are desirable skills and thus not non-negotiable requirements. You will be working from our headquarters in Sønderborg and will be expected to travel when necessary. If you believe you have the skills to solve the tasks, we strongly encourage you to apply.
