Field Service Specialist

Be the link between our customers and quality optimisation.

Do you want to play a key role in strengthening our quality standards while building strong and trusted relationships with customers? We are looking for a Field Service Specialist who thrives at the intersection of customer collaboration and quality improvement.

In this role, you will be our on-site troubleshooter and secure training of local technicians, and you will ensure that valuable field knowledge is transformed into actionable improvements that strengthen our products and processes.

You will be part of our quality team and report to our Quality Manager. This job requires a high degree of independency and customer service since you will travel to partners approximately 50 days a year.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Train international service partners and customers in the installation and maintenance of our products
  • Instruct and collaborate with global service technicians to ensure high-quality service and support
  • Analyse and report RMA cases to support quality improvements and root cause identification
  • Report general findings and make improvements for internal and external use
  • Travel to customers and provide on-site troubleshooting when needed
  • Support field testing and prototype deployments at our customers
  • Create and maintain instruction guidelines

Who are you?
We imagine that you:

  • Have an educational or professional background within electronics, mechatronics, radio technician or software engineering
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Have experience working a lot on the road and thrive in it
  • Are structured and systematic in your approach to analysis and documentation
  • Are comfortable working with technical documentation, specifications and standards
  • Are used to working together with local service technicians, building strong customer relationships and working effectively across different departments
  • Are proficient in English both spoken and written
