Bring, one of the leading logistics providers in the Nordic countries, is now a part of the well-established, agnostic parcel locker network, Nærboks, in Denmark. This means that it is now possible for the Danes to pick up parcels from three logistics providers in the same parcel locker, which gives them more options and flexibility.
Jens Lauge, Strategic Product Development at Bring, comments: “Bring’s vision is to make everyday life simpler for our customers and recipients in the North. At Bring, we are always working with innovative solutions that bring us closer to the end user. That’s why it’s important for us to always promote and test alternatives to traditional delivery models.
"The aspect of the SwipBox Infinity concept being ‘close to home’ fits Bring’s vision in the North very well. Bring was part of the initial SwipBox introduction and the concept has been well received by end users in the last year. That’s why we’re very happy and proud to offer SwipBox Infinity parcel lockers as part of an integrated part of our network in Denmark.”
Today, the sharing economy is a major trend that also includes parcel lockers. It all centers around increasing customer convenience. The Nærboks network went live in March 2019 with several logistics providers and is now being strengthened further with Bring.
Allan Kaczmarek, CEO of SwipBox, says: “We are happy to expand our collaboration with Bring. Including Bring in the Nærboks network is a big advantage for Danish end users and with the additional delivery option, the e-commerce market in Denmark is strengthened for the end users. No matter whether they live in the city or in more rural areas, they now have more options, which is a large increase in convenience.”
The Nærboks network is getting increasingly dense with rollouts of new parcel lockers every week. The vision is to have a network of 10,000 parcel lockers in Denmark.
